Virginia R.”Diddy” James, 89, of Cromwell, wife of the late Edward G. James, passed away peacefully at Haven Health Care Center in Cromwell on Sunday, January 27th. Born in Deep River on October 26, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Edith (Little) Rankin. Virginia grew up in Wethersfield and had lived in Cromwell since 1940.
