Virginia P. Ronco, 87, of Crawfordsville passed away at 10:46 p.m., Wednesday, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.
Born Sept. 4, 1923, in Crab Orchard, Ky., she was the daughter of Joshua Wesley and Jalia (Rector) Kidd. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School and later married Anzelmo James Ronco who is deceased.
She was a homemaker who belonged to St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and had been active with the American Diabetes Association.
Survivors include a son, Matthew (Carolyn) Ronco of Romney; a daughter, Maria (Joe) Vannice of Crawfordsville; two grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and 14 step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, and three sisters.
