Virginia Montagano (nee Fitzpatrick) was a gentle mother and proud grandmother who enjoyed nothing more than being in the company of her family and dog. In the very early morning of Saturday September 17, 2016. Virginia Montagano (nee Fitzpatrick) and her family were separated by death and although turned over to eternity remain connected by love. Mrs. Montagano was born in New York City and has been a resident of Burlington Twp.
She made her career raising her children and then worked as an account executive at the NJ State Division of Taxation. Virginia cheered on the Phillies and Eagles and enjoyed spending summers on Long Beach Island. She was opinionated, enjoyed politics and conversational debate.
Her lively debates will be missed. Mrs. Montagano is the mother of: Kim, Kurt & his wife Suzanne, Daniel, Scott & his wife Tina and the late Brian Montagano. Virginia is the proud grandmother of Connor, Matthew, Jonathan, Luke, Daniella, Dominic and Anthony.
She was predeceased by her late brother William Fitzpatrick and her late best friend Mary Osborne. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by her faithful companion Greta Pooh.
