Virginia M. Pressley Kirby, 88, of Rosedale, passed away August 30, 2016 surrounded by her family. Virginia was born May 10, 1928 in Crofton, KY., to Taft Hamby and Hazel Campbell Hamby. Virginia retired from Columbia Enameling in 1986, she enjoyed quilting, gardening, her dogs and making sweet tea. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and was known as “everyone’s grandmother”. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob Kirby in 1996. She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Lovell and her husband Huck of Rosedale, IN., she is survived by five sons’ J.B. Pressley of West Palm Beach, FL., Lanny Pressley and his wife Kathy of Terre Haute, Danny Pressley of Rosedale, IN., Larry Pressley and his wife Missy of Crawfordsville, IN., and Rob Pressley of Terre Haute. She is survived by two brothers and one sister of Crofton, KY. She is survived by two step children; Randy Kirby and Rhonda Kirby, fifteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
