Virginia M. Pope, 88, of Trafalgar, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 14th, 2020 surrounded by her family.
Virginia was born on August 24, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Warren Hopwood and Mary (Burge) Hopwood.
Virginia was a waitress for over 6 years at Head Start. She enjoyed being outside working in her garden and tending to her flowers. In her spare time she loved crocheting, cooking and spending time with family. She was a member of Bean Blossom Baptist Church, in Bean Blossom, Indiana.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Warren Eugene Hopwood, Harry Calvin Hopwood; and four grandchild and Seven great grandchildren.
Virginia is survived by her children, Robert (Kathryn) Pope Jr., of Avon, IN., Charles Pope, of Idaho, Martha Earlene Savage, of Franklin, IN., Sandra Kay Pope, of Trafalgar, IN., John Daniel Pope, of Franklin, IN.; her sisters, Alma Jean Miller, of Indianapolis, IN., Florence Lister, of Trafalgar, IN.; 17 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 32 great-great grandchildren; many loved ones and friends.
