Virginia Lavelle “Ginny” Evans, 41, Anderson, passed away March 16, 2012 at her residence due to complications of chronic illness.

She was born March 16, 1971 in Galveston, Texas, and resided in Texas, Mississippi, and Indiana. She earned her GED in San Antonio, Texas, followed by medical assistant and phlebotomist. Ginny’s strong work ethic and quality patient care were recognized by her colleagues. She worked in hospitals and clinics in San Antonio and Indiana. Ginny attended Madison Park Church of God and was recently baptized there by Pastor Mike Schwartz. Ginny loved NASCAR and Tony Stewart was her “boy”. She was also a long-time Dallas Cowboys fan. She expressed her creativity by painting with acrylics.

She is survived by her mother, Roselynn Dwiggins Evans; father, Allan Evans Deborah; birth mother, Patricia Bill Neely; husband, Rene’ Silvas; daughters, Christine and Shawna Vina; sister, Theresa Andy Guerra; brother, Bradley Evans; half-brothers, Thomas Juvy Perrigo and Michael Hall; half-sister, Mary Derek Villnave; grandmother, Nellie Lavelle Spurgeon; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including special friends, Jack and Ed.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Eva “Maxine” Dwiggins; maternal grandfather, Francis “Bud” Dwiggins; uncle, John Dwiggins; and paternal grandmother, Anna Virginia Evans.
