Virginia L. Doyle Young, 77, Anderson, passed away January 1, 2009 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born April 15, 1931 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of her life.
Virginia was a graduate of Anderson High School. She retired from the Accounting Department of Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 33 years of service. She was a painter and traveler.
Virginia loved music, cooking and spending time with her family. She was an avid reader.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ronald Young; children, Pam Kerry Nay of Indianapolis, Jay Sue Schepper of Anderson, Stephanie Leslie Young-Helou of Pendleton, Mark Stacey Young of Lapel and Michael Linda Young of Anderson; grandchildren, Alysia Benoit Coulmont, Rachel Bill Massingill, Jason Schepper, Christan Brock Thomas, Collin Helou, Spencer Helou, Taylor Young, Jacob Young, Steven Young, Nathan Meghan Young, Nick Young, Tylor Young, Marissa Young and great grandchildren, Madison Massingill and Malachi Young.
Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and a host of special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Virginia Hodgson Doyle and a sister, Charlene Vanderbur.
