Survivors include her children, Stephen Merritt Bonnie of Anderson, LeeAnn Holland Danny of Anderson, Mark Merritt of Anderson and Matt Merritt of Texas; brother, Tom Sharpe Pat of Anderson; grandchildren, Micah Merritt Kara, Stephanie Norris Troy, Rebecca Fair Jack, Tracy Holland, Danny Holland Tammy, Marisa Merritt, Sam Merritt, Christi Carls Joe, Nathan Merritt Sim, Austin Cammack Jess, Gordon Cammack & Dani Lopez; also surviving are several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy C. Merritt, in November of 2000; parents, Howard & Alta Murdock Sharpe; daughter, Susan Marie Merritt; and two brothers, Cecil Sharpe and Garl Sharpe.
