She passed away at 7:16 a.m.

Born Sept. 22, 1928, in Danville, she was the daughter of Conrad L. and Mildred Gentry Tincher. She was married June 7, 1963, in Royal Center, to Harlan B. Bonsett, who preceded in death Jan. 17, 2000.

Mrs. Bonsett was a retired teacher in the Pioneer School Corporation, where she taught for 36 years. She taught high school art and senior English. Virginia was also senior class sponsor and sponsor of the National Honor Society. She designed scenery for the Pioneer High School plays.

Mrs. Bonsett earned a bachelor’s degree from Canterbury College in Danville, where she was also named homecoming queen.

Surviving are nephews and nieces, Larry Eggers, Texas, Rick Eggers and Kent and Ann Eggers, all of Missouri; Conrad Tincher III, New York, and Kevin Same and his wife, Kim, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Phyllis Tincher, Pennsylvania; great-nieces and great-nephews also survive as well as friends, David and Marjorie Miller, Logansport.
