Virginia Kay Lafferty of Littleton, died on Friday October 8, 2010. Born at Fitzsimons hospital on Sunday August 1, 1948 to Raymond Earl Porter and Ruby Irene Robinson, she was the eldest of four children and fondly referred to as an army brat. She attended Ft. Logan schools, Sheridan HS, Isaac Newton Middle school and was in the first graduating class from Arapahoe High School in 1966. She married Lynol C. Lafferty in October of 1971 and they had three children, Cheryl Lee, Christine Anne and Jason Matthew.
She is preceded in death by her father Raymond E. Porter and her brother Stephen D. Porter, and is survived by her mother Ruby I. Porter, her sisters Cynthia A. Porter and Lori L. Moss, all of Littleton, her three children Cheryl L. Webb of Littleton, Christine A. Hanson of Lone Tree, and Jason M. Lafferty of Aurora, her niece Caty L. Moss, her three nephews, Jonathan T. Porter, Alex S. Moss and Nathan A. Moss, her grand children Brett M. Lafferty, Daniel T. Hanson, Nicole M. Lafferty, Travis L. Lafferty and Jacob A. Hanson and her great grandson Dakota J. Yingling.
