Virginia Kathryn McGraw Kees, age 91 of Atlanta and formerly of Decatur, GA, passed on February 19, 2019, at Emory University Hospital following a brief illness. She was born January 20, 1928, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and was the daughter of the late Thomas Leon and Frances Watson McGraw.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William George Kees, Sr. She lived most of her life in Decatur, GA. She served as an executive assistant in an accounting firm during her years of employment. She was living at Kings Bridge Retirement at the time of her illness. She is survived by her sons, William George “Bill” Kees and his wife Lisa; Douglas “Doug” Kees and his wife Nicole Andrews-Kees. Her grandchildren are Alexandra Kees, Gabrielle Kees, and John Kees. Also, surviving are her siblings Sammy Wallis and Annie Ventress.
