Virginia Darlene Gontarek, 71, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away at home with her two sons taking care of her. She was born in Winner, S.D., the fourth child of Rodney and Bessie Weir. Virginia lived in Nebraska and Iowa before moving to Fort Walton Beach in 1970. Virginia was united in marriage to John Gontarek on March 19, 1979. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Emily; parents; and one brother; and two sisters.
Virginia is survived by her husband, John; two sons, Bobby (Kandy) and Michael; one sister, Roberta; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
