Virginia “Ginny” (Choti) Aliprandi, 99, of Newington entered into eternal rest peacefully at home on November 12, 2022. She was born in Wallingford on August 3, 1923, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Zanelli) Choti. Ginny attended Wallingford public schools and graduated from Lyman Hall High School. She retired from Travelers Insurance Company after many years of service. Ginny resided in Newington for 52 years and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A charitable Catholic, she volunteered helping friends who were ill. Ginny loved to travel, enjoyed all sports, especially baseball, and was an avid Yankees fan.
Ginny is survived by a brother William Choti of Wallingford; brother-in-law George Aliprandi and his wife Carol of Middletown; sister-in-law Edith Choti of Norwich; many nieces & nephews; great nieces & nephews; and great, great nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Vedo Choti, James Choti, Joseph Choti Jr.; and sisters Christina lacozza and Anna Eckert. She would like to thank her dear friends Elizabeth Wolfe and the late William Wolfe, Donna and the late Jesse Frankl, Barbara and William Hunt, Susan Heald, and many of her other friends who helped her throughout the years. She loved them all.
