Virginia P. ‘Ginnie’ Dodson Clickner, 66 West Sand Lake Virginia P. ‘Ginnie’ Dodson Clickner, 66, of Fletcher Place, died suddenly Tuesday at Albany Memorial Hospital Albany after being stricken at her home. Born in St. Louis, MO she was daughter of the late Charles L. Dodson Sr. and Irene P. Whalen Dodson and wife of Thomas W. Clickner Sr. She had resided in Troy since 1936 and in West Sand Lake since 1948 and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School. Mrs. Clickner was employed at the West Sand Lake Elementary School for over 30 years, retiring in 1997. She was a communicant of St. Henry’s Church in Averill Park. Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter Debra VanBuren and husband Neil of Sand Lake; four sons Thomas Clickner Jr. and wife Charlene of Melrose, David Clickner and wife Susan of Castleton, Robert Clickner of Albany and Gary Clickner of West Sand Lake; two brothers Charles L. Dodson Jr. and wife Janet of Troy and Richard Dodson and wife Priscilla of Orlando, FL; his sister and brothers in law Elsie Clickner of East Greenbush, Paul and Millie Clickner of Center Brunswick and Ernie and Sandy Clickner of Melrose; six grandchildren Christina, Neil, Robert, Sarah, Matthew and Christopher and several nieces and nephews.
