Virginia (Ginger) Hogden, age 55, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer, on March 17, 2018.
She was born to Norman and Marlene (Molly) Hogden on May 4, 1962 in Rockford, Illinois. Ginger has 2 sisters: Gigi (Dave) Sorenson and Jill (Dave) Weber, whom she dearly loved. Ginger was the best “Auntie” to Cheyenne, Elizabeth, Rachel, Joshua, Sarah, Anna and Isaac. She was also a great Aunt to Eli, Easton, Emersyn, Elley, Addey, and Vincent.
Ginger was a long-time member of Shephard of the Hills Lutheran Church. She sang in the Church choir and also in the Master Chorale. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ in whom she placed her faith and trust. Ginger loved the beach and the Green Bay Packers. Ginger was a precious, kind & loving person whose life we can learn from. She was a true friend to all who knew her. Ginger is preceded in death by her father Norman Hogden, grand parents and uncle.
