Virginia Flores Escarsega, 86, lifelong resident of Deming entered eternal rest on Monday, June 13, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
Virginia was born on May 21, 1936 in Deming to Rafael and Emma (Chavez) Flores. She was the eldest of 7 children and was blessed with 12 of her own along with 34 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Virginia was a member of the Sacred Heart Society at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. She was an avid plant and curio collector.
She is survived by her 11 children, Cindy (Danny) Pinon, Guillermo Jr. and Alfredo Ybarra, John (Vanessa), Socorro (Lindy), Regino (Yadira) and Jesus Ordonez, Emma Domeny, Martha J. (Mauricio) Dominguez, Myra J. Flores and Pablo (Latasha) Escarsega; 4 siblings; 34 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Rafael and Emma Flores; her husband, Socorro Ordonez; a daughter, Maria Elena Ybarra and 3 siblings, Enrique Flores, Esther Bess and Johnny C. Flores.
