Brunswick – Virginia Esaian-Noga, of Pinewoods Avenue died Friday, May 11, 2018, at Loving Home at Fredericks, Glenville after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she lived in Philadelphia and Albany as a young girl, lived in Troy and Brunswick for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Rebecca Vartanian-Esaian and wife of the most loving husband and best friend, Edward Noga. 

Mrs. Noga was a member of the United Armenian Calvary Congregational Church of Troy, NY, serving as church clerk, choir chairperson, and choir treasurer for many years.  She sang in the choir as a junior and continued until her late senior years. 

She was a retiree of Pioneer Savings Bank as a mortgage and insurance consultant taking an early retirement in 1977.  Mrs. Noga was past president of the Troy Credit Women of the Capital District #2, past president of the Credit Women District #2, International of New York State and New Jersey. She was a member of the former Troy Club, former board member of the Troy-Cohoes YWCA, Troy Women’s Club, Ilium Literary Club, Rensselaer County Historical Society, an Auxiliary of the Samaritan Hospital and Celician Student Association.  She was a Troy delegate to annual conventions of Aintab, member of the Armenian Missionary Association of America, Armenian Diocese of the Armenian Church of America.  

Survivors include two nephews, Harold Darmanjian and Paul Manoukian and several grandnieces and nephews, great grandnieces and nephews, and great, great grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Alice Hakimian, Lydia Darmanjian, Rose Manoukian, Gladys Esaian and Charles, Harry and George Esaian and several nieces and nephews, Florence Brooks, Rachel Dudley, Rebecca Cooke and George and Harry Hakimian.
