Virginia Crandall, 87, of 181 Clifton St., New Haven, formerly of Milford, passed away Oct. 18, 2012 in YaleNew HavenHospital after a lengthy illness. Miss Crandall was born in Rockford, IL on Aug. 31, 1925, daughter of the late Dwight Auburn and Vera Claire Oliver Crandall. She worked at YaleNew HavenHospital as a nurse anesthetist for many years prior to her retirement. She is survived by her sister in law, Ruth Crandall and 7 nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Crandall and a sister, Maxine Hillery.
