Died peacefully Wednesday, February 8, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by husband, Vernon; son, David; great-grandson, Tristan; parents, Harry and Gertrude Stathas; siblings, William Stathas and Connie Palmer. Survived by her children, Bruce (Michele) Colon, Cara (Rich) Barone, Catherine (Ken) Kilker, Corrine (Dave) Kodelka-Ribar, Connie Colon, Mark Colon, and Carolyn (Mike) Pilney; her twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Adrian and (Jerry) Peterson, and Helen Palmer. She was born on March 16, 1933 to Harry and Gertrude Stathas in St. Paul, MN. She attended Chelsea Heights grade school and Murray High School. On June 16,1951 she married Vern and went on to lovingly raise their eight children.
