Virginia C. Jenkins, 69, of Stonewood, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born May 15, 1942 in Mt. Clare the daughter of the late Earl E. Jenkins and Hattie Odesa Anderson Jenkins. She is survived by three children; Richard L. McCarty and wife Cheryl of Wadestown, Roger A. McCarty and fiancee Kelley Watson of Stonewood and Tammy C. Smith and husband Edward of Lost Creek; seven grandchildren Lacey McCarty, Tyler McCarty, Bethany Harker and husband Junior, Jeni Fury, Johnny Fury, and Kevin Fury and Sharman Martinez; three great grandchildren; Paige, Katerina and Isaiah; brothers and sisters; Leroy Jenkins and wife June of Texas, Pauline David of Michigan, Milton Jenkins of Jane Lew, Carl Jenkins and wife Sharon of Johnstown, Deward Jenkins of Tennessee, Beatrice Parks and husband Pete of Buckhannon and Ruthie Jenkins of Lost Creek. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Earl Lee Jenkins and James E. Jenkins and two sisters; Melba Losh and Laura Smith. Virginia was a homemaker; she enjoyed quilting, crocheting, baking, singing and reading the bible.
