DUBLIN -Virginia “Ginny” Lee Burson, age 92 passed away peacefully in Dublin, Ohio Wednesday, October 31, 2018 with her loving daughter and devoted cat by her side. Ginny was born July 3, 1926 in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Cosma) Nichols.
Ginny lived many years in Salem. She moved to a log home on 9 acres in Lisbon to fulfill a dream of her late husband. Nine years ago she moved to Hilliard to be closer to her daughter and her daughter’s family.
She had worked as a secretary in the order department at the Deming Company. Ginny was a member of the First Christian Church of Salem where she was a very active member of the church. She was a 1944 graduate of Salem High School.
Ginny loved to talk to people, socialize and make new friends. She never met a stranger. She was always helping her neighbors.
She is survived by her daughter, Carla (Dale) Bruggeman and 4 grandchildren, Joshua, Jenna, Matthew and Michael.
Her husband, Robert “Bob” Burson whom she married April 17, 1954 preceded her in death on June 10, 2009 and a daughter, Bonnie Burson in 1971; her mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Mike Solomon; and her father, Charles Nichols also preceded her in death
