Virginia B. Britt (nee Ketner) of Burlington, died Saturday, December 19th, at her home in Burlington, she was 77 years of age. Born in Columbus, SC., she was the daughter of Irvin and Caroline Ketner.
Virginia was a self-employed lecturer on ancient religions and traveled the world extensively speaking publicly. An avid reader she also raised horses, was proficient in martial arts, traveled with the U.S.O., and worked with the Arthur Murray Gold Medal Dancers.
Virginia is survived by her children: Roberta Arnao of Burlington, Tuesday Alvarez of Tampa, FL., Dora McBurney also of Tampa, FL., and Kenneth Britt of Alexandria, KY. Also, surviving are her siblings; Georganna Graybill of Florida, George Smyser, Jr., of South Carolina, and Carolann Powell of New York as well as 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
