Virginia B. Blake Baker, 85, Anderson, died July 3, 2003 at Community Hospital, after an extended illness. She was born April 7, 1918 in Markleville, Indiana, and while living most of her life in Anderson, she had spent 10 yrs in Florida She had various jobs during her life in the medical field She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Lady Elks, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the American Legion She is survived by her Stepchildren: Pamela Gilley of Anderson, Mark E. Baker, Jr., Penny Talbert and Thomas Baker; Nieces, Helen Jackson of Anderson, Betty Powers of Anderson, and Janet Berry of Middletown; a nephew, Jim Hodson of Middletown; a special great niece, Debbie King of Alexandria; along with several great, great-great, and great great great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by an ex-husband, Everett Stottlemyer. She was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married in Venice, FL in 1984, Mark E. Baker; a son, Larry Stottlemyer; her sister, Kathryn Hodson Smear; a brother, Emory Hodson; and her parents, George & Hallie Mauzy Blake.
