Ms. Virginia Ann Montgomery-Wright, age 67, a native of Buford, Georgia, relocated to Commerce, Georgia in the last two years.
She was born September 16, 1953, and made her spiritual transition on December 30, 2020. Virginia was loved by many and will truly be missed.
She is preceded in death by her father, Mr. Robert Harold Montgomery Sr., her brothers; Mr. David Lee Montgomery and Mr. Robert Harold Montgomery Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving mother Ms. Luvennia Montgomery, her two sons; Mr. Robert Nathaniel Montgomery, Mr. Paul Antonio Wright (Anetra), two sisters; Mrs. Mary Helen Nuckles (Bona) and Ms. Queen Benetha Rogers, and five devoted grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and three special friends; Kathy Cole of Atlanta, Georgia, Stella Strickland, and Veronia Anderson both of Commerce, Georgia.
Virginia was employed with the Buford Manor Nursing Facility and Morrison’s Cafeteria for years before becoming disabled. She was a loving woman with a heart to volunteer and be of service to her church and homecare for those in need. She loved her church family and enjoyed lending her time and hands to whatever was needed. Virginia also loved her community and believed in giving back to the community, especially the neighborhood kids, earning the nickname, “The Freezer Pop” lady. She loved all the children in her neighborhood and they loved her too. Virginia was known for her big smile and the burst of laughter that was so contagious and shall never be forgotten.
