Virginia A. Compton Hudson, 94, Anderson, passed away February 7, 2011, at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after a brief illness. She was born May 26, 1916, in Shelby County, Indiana, and resided in Anderson most of her life. Virginia retired from the Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Boggstown Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Joann Garnet Dennison, Joyce Robert Persinger, Fred Susan Garver and Donald Peggy Garver; several great, great-great and great -great- great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Nellie Meloy Compton; husband, Alfred G. Hudson in 1987; three sisters and one brother.
