Mr. Virgil Lee Spears, Sr., age 76, of Valley, AL passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.
Mr. Spears is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Spears; his two sons, Virgil Lee Spears, Jr. and Glenn Wayne (Iva) Spears; his four grandchildren, Jonathon Lee Spears, Crystal Lynn Spears, Brandy Michelle Spears, and Ashley Nicole Spears; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.
Mr. Spears was born on September 7, 1941 in Randolph County, AL to the late Leon and Mindy Lou Spears. He was of the Baptist faith. He was great with his hands and could fix almost anything. He was a generous man who loved his family and his three puppies.
The family will announce a service at a later date.
