Virgil L. “Buzz” Hill, 57, of 807 Brandon Place, died Thursday, February 11, 2010, at the Williamsport Hospital.
Buzz worked for David R. Webb Company, Inc. and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 844, American Legion Post 1, the 40 et 8, Newberry Independent Club and the Republican Club.
Born August 26, 1952 in Williamsport, he was the son of Charles and Charlotte Hitchings Hill.
Surviving are his mother, Charlotte Hauke of Williamsport; sons, Virgil L. “Buzz” Hill II of Cartersville, GA and James A. Hill and Kevin L. Hill both of Williamsport; sisters, Mary Kerr of Olive Branch, Ill., Bernice Phillips of Marsh Hill, Donna Gharet of Castanea and Vonda Clark of Williamsport; three grandchildren and his fiance, LuAnn “Kitty” Kinney of Williamsport.
