Virgil Adams, 86, of Casey, Iowa, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2006, at Community Care Center in Stuart, Iowa.
Virgil Dean Adams was born on November 27, 1919, in Mahaska County, Iowa, the son of Amos Leroy and Ruby (Sarvas) Adams.
Virgil had lived in Oskaloosa, Iowa, but has lived in Casey for almost 30 years.
He worked various jobs including driving a truck for New Sharon Stockyards, Angus Coal Company, Montt Construction, V.O. Concrete and Van Buskirk Construction in Sioux City, Iowa. Virgil’s last employment was with the City of Casey, where he had worked for many years.
Virgil served in the United States Army from 1940 to 1945, during WWII.
