Virgie M. Ruble Baylis Ogden, 84, passed away on Monday, February 8 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Greensburg. Born on March 12, 1931, in Decatur County, she was the daughter of Hulbert “Hub” and Ella (Larrison) Ruble.
Virgie grew up in New Point. She had previously worked for Carol Cook Dress Factory and the Lincoln Village Nursing Home in Greensburg. She was married to Harold “Eddie” Ogden on July 8, 1971, and he preceded her in death on August 25, 2010.
Virgie is survived by her children; Sandy (Dave) Moore, Greensburg, Jim (Patty) Baylis, Salem, IL, Tracy Ogden, Austin, IN, Eric Ogden, St. Cloud, FL, and one brother; Donald “Bud” Ruble, California, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, twin brother; Virgil Ruble, 3 brothers; Cecil, Floyd, and Howard Ruble, and sister; Fredia Godby.
