Virgie L. Boyce, 81, longtime Alamogordo resident, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 at Mountain View Medical Center in Las Cruces.
She was born on October 11, 1928 in Saline, LA to Argalyous and Gennie (Armstrong) Harrison. She and her husband moved to Alamogordo in 1950.
She is preceded in death by her husband, O’Daniel “Red” W. Boyce and daughter Cynthia Boyce.
She is survived by three sons, Frederick G. Boyce of Los Angeles, CA, Dannie O. Boyce and Gary L. Boyce, both of Alamogordo; four daughters, Sherry L. Beachamp of Los Angeles, CA, Carolyn A. Robinson of Phoenix, AZ, LaVon G. Boyce of Albuquerque and Brenda F. Baker of Flower Mound, TX; grandchildren, Isaac W. Woolridge, Tracy Beachamp, Charles Beachamp, Jr., Daniel Beachamp, Laverne Beachamp, Carl Beachamp, Alicia Boyce, Susan Ortega, Kennedy Baker, Stephen Baker, Jr., and Kyrique Boyce; one great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews an a host of other relatives and friends.
