Violet Roberta Bush Jones, 76, Anderson, died January 22, 2010 at Community Hospital, Anderson. She was born July 23, 1933 in Washington County, Indiana.
Violet was a homemaker. She had worked five years at Maid Rite & Thrift Store in Seymour, eight years at Velma Mabbitt’s Boarding House in Anderson and five years as a nurse aide at Americana Manor Care. While in the nursing home, she loved to play Bingo and listen to singers.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Parilee Murray Caves; nephews, Steven L. Caves and Gary W. Caves & wife, Diana; nieces, Brenda E. Caves Houk & husband, Bob and Debra S. Collins & husband, Jim; and several great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Kenneth Jones; mother, Inez Violet McClellon Nichols; brother, Leland Eugene Caves; and a sister-in-law, Velma Mabbitt Caves.
