Lifetime Silver City resident, Violet Fortenberry, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 1, 2018.
Violet is survived by her daughter, Leola Fortenberry Allen, and her son, Dana Fortenberry (Jean); four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Fortenberry; two sons, Elvin Donnie and Albert Wylie.
