Violet M. (Krantiz) Kies, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, in the care of Phoebe Allentown surrounded by her children. Born in Bethlehem on March 11, 1935 she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Donchez) Krantiz.
Violet worked as a secretary for Bethlehem Steel and later worked for Dick Milhem as a title clerk before retiring. Violet loved going to the casinos, playing bingo, and traveling with friends. Above all she cherished her time spent with her family.
SURVIVORS: Violet will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Terri Savacool and husband Michael of Macungie; son, Dennis Kies and wife Joan of Danielsville; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter, Linda Grady; brother, Joseph Krantiz and sister, Vilma Roman.
