Violet H. Froehlich Violet H. Froehlich, 89, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Manor Care of Bethlehem. She was the wife of Milton S. Froehlich, Jr. They celebrated their 67th anniversary this past September. Born in Virginia, she was one of seven children of the late William H. and Lottie (Haney) Harris. Violet was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church and the Bethlehem Garden Club, as well as, an avid bridge player. Survivors: daughters, Nancy F. Poteet and her husband Thomas of Elkton, MD and Darcy A. Tyrrell and her husband Jeffrey of Eldorado Hills, CA; a son, Milton S. “Buzz” Froehlich III and his wife Judith of Bethlehem; a brother Sterling V. Harris of Baltimore; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael in 1986.
