Mrs. Droescher passed Tuesday, June 26, 2017, at Community Pride in Battle Creek.
Violet was born on the family, farm near Lindsay, on June 24, 1926, the daughter of Arthur and Bertha (Zessin) Eucker. She graduated from high school in 1943.
On May 21, 1944, Violet married Milton Freudenburg and to that union 6 children were born, Milan, Marvin, Marlene, Merle, Myron and Mark. Milton passed away on April 21, 1958. Violet married Milton Droescher on April 10, 1971. They wintered in Arizona City, AZ, for 10 years. He passed away on Feb 18, 1994.
Vi was an avid golfer, card player and loved baking cookies for her grandchildren. She never gave up being the mother.
Violet is survived by her children, Marvin (Sandy) Freudenburg, of Norfolk, Marlene (Dallas) Wachter, of York, NE, Myron (Judy) Freudenburg, of Gulf Breeze, FL and Mark Freudenburg (Laura Harris) of Norfolk; Daughters-in-law: Carol Freudenburg, of Madison, and Loretta Freudenburg, of Loveland, CO; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter; her sisters: Donna Frank and Betty Bachman; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her sons, Milan and Merle; her siblings, Eldor, Norman, and DuWayne Eucker and her sister, Elaine Schulz.
