Violet D. Alexander, 76, of Palmerton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 25, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg in Bethlehem.
She was the wife of the late James Alexander, who passed away on April 20, 1997. Born in Bushkill Twp., she was the daughter of the late Peter and Alice (Williamson) Reeser. Violet worked as a seamstress for may years in the Garment Industry, until retiring. She was member of the I.L.G.W.U.
Violet loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed bowling. Survivors: sons Dennis Alexander (Donna) of Bethlehem, Ricky Alexander (Roxanne) of Palmerton; sisters Penny Alexander all of Palmerton, Candy Behler of Lehighton; grandchildren Shayna, Ashley, Tabitha, Valerie, Barry Lee, Jason, Rodney and Stacy; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Donna Bloom (Richard) of Lehighton Loretta Fisher of Parryville, and Susan Andrews (Dean) of Tamara. She was predeceased by her grandson Troy Alexander.
