Viola “Vickie” Christina Watson, age 73, of Fairmount, IN, died Friday, July 19, 2013, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. Vicki was born in New Castle, Indiana on September 19, 1939, the daughter of the late Wayne Stephens and Hilda (Usher) Stephens.
She graduated from New Castle High School. She was employed by Marion General Hospital for 27 years in the cafeteria and as a Home Health Care aide. She enjoyed watching softball and keeping the book and scoreboard. She was also an IU Basketball, Indianapolis Colts, and Elvis Presley fan. She enjoyed playing Euchre and Canasta. She was a member of the Fairmount Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church.
Two Daughters: Linda (James) Copeland, Fairmount, IN Karen Watson, Fairmount, IN Two Sons: Joe (Sharon) Watson, Fairmount, IN Mike Watson, Fairmount, IN 7 Grandchildren; Kyla and Kacey Copeland both of Fairmount Jaylen and Breanna Watson both of Fairmount Brittany Preston, Fairmount Tanna, and Jonathan Preston both of Marion 3 Great Grandchildren One Sister: Donna (Ron) DeLay, Paw Paw, IL Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Brenda and Jacqueline Jo Watson and a brother Ronald Stephens.
