Viola Schwarze, 104, of Freeport formerly of the Red Oak area, died Saturday July 14, 2007 at Freeport Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Viola was born November 07, 1902 in Lancaster Twp, Stephenson County IL the daughter of Clayton and Lizzie (Fawver) Maize.
On October 23, 1929 she married Harris C. Schwarze at Ridott, IL. He died July 26, 2006.She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church at Cedarville. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school and working with crafts.
Surviving are two sons, Orville (Joyce) Schwarze of Freeport and William Schwarze of Kissimmee, Fl;Three grandchildren Debra Schwarze of Shannon; Scott (Anna) Schwarze of Kissimmee Fl and Steve Schwarze of Apopka, Fl.; one great grandson Cory Schwarze of Kissimme, FL.; former daughter in law Gerry Schwarze of Forreston; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, 4 sisters Ruth , Mildred, Esther, Edna, two brothers Donald and Sterll.
