Viola Lee Bowling, 84, of Anderson, passed away on December 7, 2014 at Community Hospital Anderson. She was born on March 16, 1930 in Lexington, Kentucky and resided most of her life in Anderson. She retired from K-Mart after 25 years of service.
Viola is survived by her loving children, Brenda Lee (Ken) Crisp of Alexandria, John K. Bowling of Anderson, and Earl W. Bowling of Anderson; grandchildren, Angie, Matthew, Morgan, Katy, Kelli (Chris), Kelsey, Kirby, Eli, Gavin, Scott, Andrew and Michelle; great-grandchildren, Jaeden, Kameron, Kalleigh, Koltyn, Ariana, Adisen, Jordan, and Jaxon; sisters, Lillie (Ralph), Nancy, Lannie, Marilyn (Larry), and Susie; and brothers, Jack and Wayne (Lorraine).
Also surviving are many step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lillie Martin; husband, Shirley Bowling Jr.; children, Tom Bowling, Bill Bowling, and Michael Bowling; sisters, Edna, Mildred, and Barbara.
