Viola Jean DeMaria D’Anselmi, age 80, of Roane Avenue, Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at her residence following a brief illness. Mrs. D’Anselmi was a retired supervisor with Maiden Form Company. She was born in Clarksburg on July 9, 1929, a daughter of the late Sam and Rosie Pulice DeMaria. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Karl S. D’Anselmi; her daughter, Karleen “Kaye” D’Anselmi Reid, Clarksburg; one grandson, D. J. Reid and his fiancé Kathryn Swink, Rockville, MD; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Anthony DeMaria and his wife Martha, and Sam DeMaria and his wife Janet; her foster brother, John Marchio; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sam and Minnie D’Anselmi; brother-in-law, Lawrence D’Anselmi; sister-in-law, Caroline Sue D’Anselmi Corley; nieces, Veronica Ann DeMaria Gooden and Laurie Dawn D’Anselmi; and nephew, Dennis Michael DeMaria. Mrs. D’Anselmi was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She had many hobbies and interests, of which her family was the most important.
