Viola passed away peacefully in her home of September 23, 2008 surrounded by photographs of her wonderful life and family.
Viola was born in New York City 1918. She moved to California after her 4 years stint in Would War II as a WAC.
She met my dad, married and they started a large car business which she ran for 15 years.
She did a few shows with Bob Hope and Jerry Colona all for donations. She worked with the JC’s and March of Dimes, raising monies for the Rose Parade. She worked timelessly for the Disabled and American Veterans.
She then moved to Arizona to start a new life. She met my step-dad Rex Dahl.
She owned two daycare centers in central Phoenix for 24 years. Her motto – all children welcome – proclaiming there is no color, no religion, no handicapped in the eyes of children – they have to be taught to be negative. Therefore all children are sent from our Lord.
We remember the sweetness of her smile, the caress of her hands, and the wisdom of her ways which has given us the strength and ability to be who we are today.
Some where over the rainbow and beyond the twinkling stars Viola will find the place and happiness she enjoyed during her brief life on earth. In dying we are born unto eternal life.
May god receive and love our beautiful lady.
