Viola E. Neff Kaler, 93, formerly of Elwood Road, died Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Winship Green Nursing Home, Bath Maine.
Viola was predeceased by her husbands, John W. Neff on June 2, 1949 and Donald Kaler on Jan. 6, 1993, a brother Elwood Fink and a sister Betty Dangle.
Viola was a member of the Third Street United Methodist Church and worked for the former Carey-McFalls. She also enjoyed crocheting afghan’s.
Born May 14, 1917 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Grier and Estella Lord Fink.
Surviving are a son, John R. Neff of Bath ME; daughters, Charlotte A. Austin of Bellevue, NE and Helen L. Noonan of Raleigh, NC; brothers, A. William Fink of Williamsport and Donald Fink of Albuquerque, NM; a sister, Edna Fink of Jersey Shore; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
