VIOLA ETHEL COULTER, 81, resident of Deming passed away Sunday September 25, 2011 at the Casa de Oro in Las Cruces.

Viola was born November 17, 1929 in Walsh, Colorado to Robert Earl and Leona Pearl Campbell. She was a Supervisor and Nursing Assistant in the field of Home Health Care and has been a resident of Deming for approximately 16 years having previously lived in the Idaho and Oregon areas. Viola was a member of the Baptist Church, a lifelong member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and had been very active with the Deming Senior Center.

She is survived by her mom, Leona Pearl Campbell of Lamar, CO; 5 brothers, George and his wife Christine of Columbus, OH, William and his wife Barbara of Newport, WA, Richard and his wife Goldeen of Post Falls, ID, Harold and his wife Lindsey of Reno, NV, Glen of Wyoming; 4 sisters, Roberta Caddick of Lamar, CO, Donna Palmer of Roy, UT, Ruth Foutch and her husband Jimmie of Deming, Norma Jean Campbell of Idaho; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viola was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Russell and Robert Kenneth “Kenny” Campbell, 1 sister, Mary Cotter, and by her husband James R. Coulter.
