DURHAM Viola Carrington Morris, lifelong resident of Durham, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015. The daughter of the late Ira Wyche Carrington and Ida Lee Castle was also predeceased by her husband, Robert Alexander Morris and is the last surviving member of her family. She was a homemaker of the holiness faith who loved to cook, and play with her nieces and nephews. She also played the piano, guitar, and harmonica.
Mrs. Morris is survived by her daughter, Donna Johnson and husband Gerald; granddaughter, Deborah Christie and husband Ron; great-grandson, Cameron, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, grand and great-nieces and nephews.
