Vincent Swientek, age 86, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2007. Born in Kosciusko, Texas, on July 27, 1921, he was the son of Alois and Matilda Moy Swientek. An employee of the Lone Star Brewery for many years, he had lived in Boerne since 1992. A Veteran of the U. S. Air Force, Vincent had married Albina Frances Sczech on May 13, 1947, in San Antonio. Preceded in death in his parents and Great Granddaughter, Tayler Postell, Mr. Swientek is survived by his wife of 60 years, Albina Swientek; Daughters, Mary Birck and her husband, Freddie, Betty Holbert and her husband Billy, Frances Lynn and her husband, Tray, and Carol Scrimpsher and her husband, Kelly; Grandchildren, Tammy (Mike), Chris, Jeani (John), Shanda(Robb), Lanette, and Christina(Fredico); Great Grandchildren, Casey, Tayler (d.), Chance, Mina, and Alex; Several Brothers and Sisters.
