Vincent Sperduti, 78, of Bristol, died Wednesday (April 11, 2007) at Bristol Hospital.
He was born June 16, 1928 in Highland Falls, NY, son of the late Joseph and Assunta (DeSantis) Sperduti. A longtime resident of Bristol, he was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War. Mr. Sperduti was employed at the Connecticut Spring Company for many years until his retirement. He was very active member of the Bristol Senior Center and had volunteered for the Bristol Little League and the Special Olympics.
He is survived by his two brothers, Alexander Sperduti of New Britain and Joseph Sperduti of Plainville; his sister, Alice Wilson of Ohio; several nieces and nephews, his beloved step-son, Eugene Stanchfield of Glastonbury and many beloved step-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his fiancé, Helen Stanchfield, his brother, John Sperduti and his sister, Mary Costa Buzzi.
