Vincent Puccia, 79, of Middletown, passed away, Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at home, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Brooklyn, he resided in Middletown for the past 38 years. He was very well respected as a vice-president of Manufacturer Hanover-Chemical Bank, NYC, for 40 years, retiring in 1993. He was an avid golfer and gardener; he was coach of the baseball, soccer and softball Middletown Travel and Recreation Teams. He was a communicant and head usher with St. Mary’s RC Church, New Monmouth. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Vincent was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Jenny Covello Puccia; a brother, Joseph Puccia; and a sister, Anne Miller. He is survived by his wife, Linda Kanter Puccia; a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Jill Puccia of Middletown; a daughter, Karen Puccia of Holmdel; and two grandchildren, Jenna and Zachary.
