Vincent P. “Vinnie” Garito, age 73, of Edgewater, died Sunday, July 10, 2022 at AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach. Born in Manhattan, New York to John and Viola Paternostro Garito; Vinnie moved to this area in 2007 from Long Island, New York.
Vinnie served in the United States Army during Vietnam and was a former auto body repair shop owner in New York. Vinnie worked for numerous years at Boston Whaler in Edgewater after he moved to Florida. He loved to tell stories of his past and was a wonderful husband.
Survivors include his loving wife, Crystal; 2 daughters;1 step-daughter; 1brother; 1 sister; and numerous grandchildren. Vinnie was preceded in death by his parents.
