Vincent James Harrington, Sr., age 70, passed away on Jan. 17, 2019 at his home in Quakertown. He was born Sept. 1, 1948 in Detroit, MI to the late Vincent and Winifred (Cawley) Harrington. Vincent served his country with distinction in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. In his time away from the military, he was a devoted family man. Doting on his children and grandchildren, during trips to the Outer Banks, Disney World, or the Jersey shore, at military air shows, making model airplanes, watching Philly sports teams, and just plain old charcoal-grilling up his famous “burnt” hotdogs. His family pride shone through especially brightly when attending 7:30am Mass and taking the kids out for breakfast to John’s Plain & Fancy Diner. Vincent is survived by: daughter Julie Harrington, son Brian Harrington (wife Kylie), daughter Kelley Catagnus (husband James), son Mike Harrington (wife Kat), son Justin Harrington (wife Kristy), son Vincent Harrington, son Pat Harrington (wife Kim); grandchildren Rhiannon, Taylor, Memory, Chase, Kyran, Kailyn, Bryce, Amilya, Ryan, and Kaylee; brothers Kevin Harrington (wife Kathy) and Chris Harrington (wife Donna); and sister Ruthann Vaughan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother in law John Vaughan.
