Vincent A. Janssen, age 69 of Holiday City Berkeley, went home to the Lord, Saturday May 25th, 2013. Born in Hoboken, NJ, Vincent lived in Jersey City, NJ before moving to Holiday City in 2000. Vincent was a Second Class Rigger for Bethlehem Steel, Hoboken, NJ for over 25 years.
While residing in Jersey City, NJ, Vincent was a member of the Elks, Weehawken, NJ and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Hoboken, NJ. After his retirement from Bethlehem Steel, Vincent and his wife moved to Holiday City, where he worked for St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River for five years as a foreman. He was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.
Vincent is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Anne Marie (Kyle) Janssen; his sister, Cookie and her husband Mario Codella of Florida; his two brother-in-laws, John and his wife Eileen Kyle of Bellville, NJ and Frank and his wife Julia Kyle of Greenwood Lake, NY; his sister-in-law, Betty who recently passed away and her husband Joseph Poling of Carlstadt, NJ; his goddaughters, Frances Kyle and Jaclyn Brunner, his godson Vincent Janssen and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
